What to see near The Antlers Hotel
Garden of the Gods is close enough to walk to from almost any frame of mind, but it rewards the unhurried visitor most. The red sandstone fins rise at impossible angles against the skyline, stacked by ancient geology into something that reads less like a park and more like a cathedral left open to the air. Follow the central path past the signature formations, then let yourself drift toward the quieter western trails where the crowds thin and the rock faces catch the full drama of the sky. North Cheyenne Cañon offers a different mood entirely, cool and enclosed, the granite walls narrowing around you as you climb toward Helen Hunt Falls. Both places are within minutes of The Antlers, and both will stay with you.
